Clarke Ohrstrom will be looking good in his new threads! A new race suit for the 2024 season. Not a replica but the suit that Danny Sullivan wore during his 1989 CART season. He will be looking sharp! "Stop by for a smoke and beer!", Clarke jokes.

We are interested in highlighting our VRG racer's offseason projects. If you are updating your car, racing a new car or any changes you would like to see on our pages sent them to us!

Congratulations to VRG racers 3rd place finish in the iRacing 24 hours of Daytona! The team consisted of Stefan Vapaa (1969 Macon racer and VRG School Instructor), Mack McCormack (Mini Cooper S racer and ex-VRG President), Jim Graziano (VRG Black Flag Chief), Jonathan Fields (Mazda Miata racer), and Steve Ficacci (Formula Ford Racer). They were joined by VRG iRacing league racers Wiley Cox, Dave Curtis, and Daniel Loudermilk.

The iRacing Daytona 24 Hours is one of the world’s most infamous endurance races, featuring some of the fastest prototype and GT vehicles on the planet all piloted by some of motorsport’s greatest drivers. The race is contested with entries made up of the GTP, LMP2, and IMSA GT3 categories. The event is held annually in January, seven days before the real-life event. The 2024 edition of the iRacing Daytona 24 featured a record setting 18,575 drivers on 4,055 teams. In addition, more than 1.8 million viewers watched iRacing broadcasts of the event across Twitch and YouTube.
